Two Random Links

02 Dec

Just came across a couple of links I wanted to share with you.

One is the National Center for Health Statistics site “Stats of the States.” It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for state-level data and aren’t, say, a health services researcher by training. Go there, find your state of residence, click on the interactive map, take in all the data that opens in PDF format, and get ready to become a lot more fun at parties.

And, speaking of states, the second link is actually from my home state of Georgia. It’s a new health news website focusing on the state, called appropriately “Georgia Health News.” If you’re a Georgian, you should visit the site to find out what’s going on in the Peach State. If you hail from another state, you should visit the site to get ideas about how to create a similar state-specific health news website for the place you call home.

Alright, that’s the end of the commercials. Commence regularly scheduled programming.
