The long-awaited CBO report is finally out and it’s good news. The compromise legislation would be the largest deficit reduction of any bill Congress has adopted since 1993 according to a story in the New York Times. It’s projected to reduce the deficit by $138 billion over ten years and by as much as $1.2 trillion over 20 years.
