The fine folks over at ProPublica have an entire series that outlines what health care reform would mean for a variety of different types of people in this country. Now, their case selection is quite anecdotal, so you can probably find some exceptions with enough creativity and some careful digging, but I like their approach of putting this policy debate into “real people” terms. They outline everything in plain English and make it rather understandable for laypersons. What’s more, they don’t inject a lot of politics into their discussion of the topic. If you just want to get your bearings in the “how will this thing play out if it passes” department, you should check it out.
